In tandem with our partners, the Kelley School of Business has presented its national, state and local forecasts in cities across Indiana each year since 1972. Data housed at the Indiana Business Research Center has been instrumental in generating the forecasts. Our forecasts and commentary contextualize economic risk and uncertainty and help Hoosier communities and businesses plan for the next year.
The panelists provide insights into key economic indicators such as GDP growth, inflation, interest rates, employment and industry trends. Panelists evaluate the overall business environment and consider the factors that may shape the economy and financial markets over the next year.
As a supplement to the Futurecast tour each fall, the winter Outlook edition of the Indiana Business Review is a collection of evidence-driven articles detailing experts’ economic forecasts for the upcoming year for Indiana, each of its metros, the nation and the globe, as well as the financial and housing markets.
