Jasper

The Jasper, Indiana, Micropolitan Statistical Area consists of two counties (Dubois and Pike) in southwestern Indiana.* The city of Jasper, known for its German heritage, is the county seat and most populous city in Dubois County.

* Micropolitan areas are defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. They have smaller urban clusters relative to metropolitan areas. The OMB released new statistical area delineations in 2023, which remove Pike County from this micro; however, the new definitions will not be reflected here until the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics implements these changes into their data.
