Chris joined the IBRC in 1999 to manage Indiana’s Census 2000 awareness program (ICAUSE) after spending over four years in New Zealand as general manager of both a golf club and professional basketball team.
Prior to that, Chris spent over twenty years in the banking industry and was the initial Director of Lending Programs for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, a public-private nonprofit established to educate individuals and families about responsibilities of successful homeownership and provide mortgage financing for low- and moderate-income households and community development corporations within Marion County. He is a past president of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association.
With the IBRC, Chris has managed various projects including school enrollment projections, surveys and feasibility studies. He has worked on benchmarking studies as well as other IBRC economic and socio-demographic studies.
A native of Indianapolis, Chris is an army veteran with service in Vietnam and earned a B.S. in Business from Butler University. Away from work, Chris enjoys golf, reading and commiserating with other Chicago Cub fans. He and his wife Linda live on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
