Matt Kinghorn
Economic Analyst

Matt conducts a variety of demographic and economic research projects at the Indiana Business Research Center. Examples of Matt’s work include producing population projections for Indiana and its counties, community benchmarking studies, and economic impact analysis.
He also serves as an Indiana representative to the U.S. Census Bureau's Federal-State Cooperative for Population Estimates and is a member of the Indiana Geographic Information Council.
Prior to joining the IBRC, Matt worked with a community development consulting firm where he led a range of projects throughout Indiana including local economic development strategies, community needs assessments, and project feasibility studies.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in geography from Indiana University. He is currently completing work on a Master’s of Public Administration degree at IU’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
