Rachel Justis

Geodemographic Analyst

Justis

Rachel Justis has led the production of the Indiana Business Research Center’s communications and research tools since 2001. In her role as geodemographic analyst, she uses geographic information systems (GIS) technology as a way to help users throughout Indiana visualize complex information via maps and graphics.

Rachel is managing editor of the center’s print and web publications, which include the monthly In Context and the quarterly Indiana Business Review. In addition, Rachel has authored numerous analytical articles and also oversees the design of the center’s many websites.

Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Indiana University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She is also the co-LUCA liaison for Indiana and is a member of the Indiana Geographic Information Council.
